Garfield Street Reconstruction

The Garfield Street Reconstruction was completed in the Summer of 2014.  This project included water main replacement and full reconstruction of the roadway, including new storm sewer, curb & gutter, sidewalk, new roadway pavement, and landscape restoration.  This project was funded at 80% by Federal Surface Transportation Program (STP) funding, administered through the Will County Governmental League.  The 20% local Share was paid for through Motor Fuel Tax (MFT) funds.

Residents who had parkway trees removed as part of this project may request tree replacement using the City's service request system on the City of Lockport Website's home page.
