The City announces its recently published Resident Guide which includes important information on City services and facilities, elected officials, utilities, Lockport history, historic sites, and more. While the guide was designed with new residents in mind, providing an introduction to essential services and the community, current residents may also find new information or helpful resources for living in Lockport.
One of the first connection points for new residents is through utility billing since all Lockport residents within incorporated City limits receive water and sewer services through the City and Garbage, Recycling, and Yard Waste Services through Waste Management. Through utility billing, working together with the Lockport Chamber of Commerce, new residential development communities, and local real estate agents, a limited number of printed copies of the Resident Guide and packet including publications from many community partners and service providers will be made available beginning in August.
A digital version of the Resident Guide is now available online under the Services menu on the City’s website. This dedicated page features direct links to community partners, maps, area services, and PDF copies of many of the publications included in the hard copy of the packet, available to view and download.
