The Garfield Street Reconstruction was completed in the Summer of 2014.
This project included water main replacement and full reconstruction of
the roadway, including new storm sewer, curb & gutter, sidewalk, new
roadway pavement, and landscape restoration. This project was funded at 80% by Federal Surface Transportation Program (STP) funding, administered through the Will County Governmental League. The 20% local Share was paid for through Motor Fuel Tax (MFT) funds.
